Mascot Names for Charlotte

    No official word yet but mascot names most mentioned for the new Charlotte franchise are Cougars,Counts,Emeralds,and Royals.

    Charlotte Royals sounds like a good idea, imagine the uniforms tho, they'll have a different design no matter what the name

    I would name the franchise the Charlotte Hurricanes, their mascot would be called Twister.

    I think Flyers is a good name for them, and it has something to do w/ basketball. They should have thought of that.

    Then they just try and get J-Rich, Des Mason, Vince, or some other high flying dunker to be their franchise player. It'd work.

    [​IMG] sorry, NJN but Bill walton.

    I hate him. I was watching a rockets game against the mavs, and all he does is kiss there ass. When ever the Rockets made a shot, he would say lucky shot. But the mavs would chuk up crap shots and he would say "look at the skill on that one"

    Royals are a baseball team and Hurricanes is a hockey team. The Flyers are also a hockey team, but with the NBA being an above the rim game, Flyers is a good NBA team name.

    hey, if it sells why not? get some airline to sponsor them and give away frequent flyer mile rewards sometimes. if you build it, they will come (exception nets :cry: )

    Charlotte is known for its tobacco fields and their hurricanes. That's why I chose the name Hurricanes.

    There's really no reason to argue in here...any ways we are naming the MASCOT not the TEAM NAME.

    My mascot name is Twister. What's yours?
