No, no--see, when I pointed out that he shoots well from the corner, Denny has shown me that I clearly meant that that's the only manner in which he can contribute offensively.
if legend can work on his josh mcroberts/ sabas style passing my dick might literally detach and do a jig on my TV.
They must have caught wind that he was going to get an offer out of their price range. Otherwise, I'd be suprised they wouldn't at least be willing to sign him for his same salary for a couple of years.
it's hard to know exactly the order of what went down and why, but you'd assume that everything was tied to the re-signing of LMA in regards to tying up the supporting existing cast. the real question is if the supporting cast had (besides Dame) had any awareness of the LMA in / you in - LMA gone - you gone, aspect of it. I'd assume not. Like others have said, it is a BUSINESS at the end of the day, players use the 'best for my family' shit to justify leaving for more money every year, i dont see a problem with ownership making moves that are 'best for the business' in these situations. also, id rather have the current group than a resigned Wes and lower quality elsewhere, i think were pretty balanced atm and have a chance to grow into something pretty interesting
I'd rather have the current group than last season's roster. LMA did NOT fuck us - he did us a huge favor.
Never thought I'd agree with you on this, but atlas my homerism is taking over and I've seen the light, we are better off.
Here's the kicker: Cuban said he is going to rebuild the team if DJ or LA will not sign with the Mavs. Did something change now? how can the Mavs front office not trade everybody over there before the trade deadline? I bet Wesley starts his next season elsewhere.
There r only a few moments in history that r game changers: there was the landing on the moon (real or fake...?) & some other crap AND then... there was/is THIS! My eyes have been opened! This video/song works on so many levels! It's all so clear to me now... the universe's a simple equation to me!
You need to make that we have the opportunity to be better off in the future. There's absolutely no doubt that next season is going to produce way more losses than last year's roster. There's also little doubt that last year's roster seemed to have little upside. IF Olshey has done as well as we hope and one or two of these new guys pan out, and IF we're able to nab a blue chip prospect in the draft, THEN the Blazers will be better off in the long run. I keep telling myself this over and over again. I want to puke now.
