According to reports quoted by SBI, Maurice Edu is on the way back and should be suiting up for Rangers after the November international break. As someone who was introduced heavily to football at a Celtic supporter bar, I could give two craps what this means for Rangers. For the US, its a pretty big deal. Edu and Bradley offer the best option for the US in central midfield, unless Jermaine Jones gets healthy (which seems like a big if). Additionally, Edu has fared very well as a central defender at times and with Onyewu and DeMerit both out, he could be needed in a pinch.
