<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Mavs fans should be praying for Dirk not to have a sustainable injury. That sprained ankle last night looks at least 2 weeks.</div>Your probably right if Avery is smart he'll take this opportunity and extend the injury return. I bet he doesn't and Dirk comes back either for the next game or the 2nd.It wasn't that bad of an injury. But things like that make me want Avery to start thinking about minutes/benching. No need to risk for wins in the regular season, I believe all we have to do is attain 5 wins or less(depending on the Suns) out of 11 left for homecourt. It's doable without Dirk.

Dirk was actually able to come back in the game but Avery was being cautious. You sound like a hater with those comments.</div>Im not a hater, Im just saying you guys need Dirk, and if he is out for a prolonged time, it could prove fatal. I saw the injury but I mean you never know, Dirk is your MVP, im sure you need him.

The Mavs are a better team than the Pistons this year for sure....Although the Mavericks played terrible in the playoffs, they are still a good team. Not many teams have that kind of matchups with Dallas, and the pistons arent really one of them. Mavs are better. Period.
I guess we'll never find out.And I frankly don't care, because while the Mavs are fishing and getting joy on how they match up against Detroit, we'll be walking in to another title.

Mavericks did exactly what the Pistons did last year. Wear out all there energy in the regular season. But at least Detroit made it to the conference finals
Why does every player on the Pistons talk and act like the Pistons are the greatest basketball team ever?
