Also a quick tip of the cap to AV for finally realizing who his second D pair is. Skjei/Smith played 20/19 minutes. Staal/Holden played 16/14:30 minutes.

About time AV realized what we all saw since game 1 against Montreal.

Don't be so quick to praise this guy. He may go back to playing two traffic cones their regular 20 minutes or more.

Good win. The next 3 should go this way.

A lot less to say after a decisive victory. I think this game was what most people were expecting out of this series. Ottawa is a tough team...hopefully the Rangers don't sleep on them Thursday because their work is far from over and they could be facing a determined team on Thursday.

Not a lot to say after an easy victory by playoff standards. Rangers did what they needed to do right from the drop of the puck.

I would caution though you know the Sens will be hearing two days of I told you they would come out like that, we need to raise our game now, and we cannot afford to let them win game 4 and get all the momentum in a best of 3 series. Boucher I am sure will be saying all that and more until tomorrow night.

The Rangers need to be prepared for a Sens team that plays at a different emotional level in game 4. And at the same time the Rangers need to play with the same desperation, discipline and smarts they played with last night.

Even though we are down 2-1 it feels like we lead because quite frankly we have controlled most of the series.

There is no reason for the Rangers not to believe after three games in which they have led for 104 minutes, been tied for 94:43 and have trailed for only the final 4:11 of Game 1.

The Sens will bring it in game 4 I think, and we need to be prepared for that. Stretches of game 1 the Sens played well, mainly because of their PP, but for most of this series the Rangers have been the better team. That makes me feel optimistic, but it also scares me. Hopefully it continues in game 4.
