Yep. And things will still be better than they were last year. Maybe the Nets will run into a little draft luck or sign a FA who explodes into a great player.

Either way, they can only do what's smart, and so far that's what they've done since January.

Probably because Perkins was what the 8th scoring option on the team.

 

Would the Celtics have rings if Boone was their starting center and main interior defender instead of Perkins?

putting so much towards getting lebron“? Come on the moves made by the Nets had to be done regardless with the signing of Lebron in 2010 or no Lebron.

With all the moves made by 2010 the Nets may have the most salary cap space in the the NBA. All the pups will be 2 years older and the Nets will be in Brooklyn a great marketing place. I would say they are in great condition with/without Lebron. Signing LeBron in my eyes is a bonus... getting him would be like extra icing on the cake.

That is why watching and understanding the game is more important than just looking at stats.

I was kind of wishing JB get a chance elsewhere, as the nets dont really like him.

Who cares though, if he still gets minutes and produces. Last year should have been like Christmas morning for you; it was a great year for Boone.

There isn't some grand conspiracy against the kid. He'll continue to get a shot (hell, start!) if he's deserving. If he doesn't earn a spot in the rotation then he's back to being a terrible player for not being able to beat out all these rookies, and a gimp (sorry Krstic, you know daddy loves you).

As proven by starting him even though he's been injured at the start of both his NBA seasons, still makes a lot of mistakes- especially in defensive rotations, needs to get a lot stronger and is the worst free throw shooter in NBA history.
