If we want to sign a player to a max contract we would have to renounce both, I believe we have around 10m if we extend the QO to Maynor and get our draft pick.

I disagree. Keeping maynor is very important to the team, IMO. All season it looked like our bench was shit; but just adding a decent pg back up has done wonders for our existing bench.

More importantly, Lillard is performing much better. We need him.

Having 11 mil free is a fine amount for free agency and lopsided deals.

LOL. That's exactly the vibe I'm getting in this thread.

Maynor likes money and playing time. Cool for us and him that the Blazers have both to offer this summer.

He's been horrible the last two games. Worst player on the floor for the Blazers. If he does come back, Stotts needs to figure out how playing Maynor and Lillard at the same time is going to work over the course of an entire season. I've seen enough positives to not mind having him back, but defenses seem to be figuring out how to minimize Maynor the last two games, making him a liability.

The biggest problem I saw tonight is Maynor complaining to the refs, wondering why the heck they don't like him as much now that he's not with OKC.
