Cotto, predictably, having trouble finding the mark so far. Three rounds to Mayweather who--in fairness--hasn't landed many of his own. But it's Mayweather...
Cotto is trying to trap Mayweather in the corner or along the ropes but his rolling and head movement is keeping him out of trouble. When Mayweather comes forward he lands with great accuracy but so far hasn't pushed very hard, which is his style I guess.
Not exactly sure where we're at on the scorecards right now. I'm thinking somewhere like 7-2 (88-82) for Mayweather.
I'm watching the fight in Romanian and drifting in and out of attention... I'm seeing some people on the internet with the fight even or putting Cotto ahead. Don't see it personally but who knows?
Cotto driving his head into Mayweather's chest, trying to pin him in place, but eating punches in the process.
I have it 8-3 for Mayweather. Cotto needs to knock him out. However, Mayweather needs to decisively win this round to make things safe for him in the eyes of the judges, I reckon.
I guess the commentating on HBO was horrendously biased. Didn't see it. Was watching a British feed, then a Romanian one. Doesn't surprise me.
