Wax museum in Ireland installs a very Gunni Nelson-looking Conor McGregor...

Paulie is doing a great job selling this fight but the odds of him getting one are pretty slim IMHO.

Apparently the WBC has put up a diamond-studded Million Dollar Belt because boxing isn't quite tacky enough...

speeds, any word on the ramifications of a shocking KO for Conor in regards to how much money a rematch could generate.

Most bout agreements have rematch clauses built-in. They usually need to be taken advantage of over a set period of time like one year. IIRC, Oscar accused Mayweather of sitting out the duration of the clause and coming back once it was expired. You'd think that Mayweather would love to cash another cheque in 10-12 months but he hasn't been big on rematches during his career. Oscar, Saul, Manny all would've been big money rematches and he opted not to do it. Once (if) Mayweather gets to 50-wins and passes Marciano I think he'll be finished with it. He can still make money by promoting other guys like Tank and whoever else he has coming up.

This fight is expected to generate like $425-450MM if they come close to 5-million PPV buys.

What about if Conor KO'd Mayweather. You think a rematch could reach $750 mil?

Well the PPV record right now is Money/Pac which was 4.6-million, so you're asking if the rematch between Money and Mac would pull 8.6-million buys?

I guess nothing is impossible but we'll need to see what this weekend's fight does first and go from there. There is a solid chance it doesn't reach the same level as Money/Pac.

    Floyd weighed 149.
    Conor weighed 153.

The same feeling I had about Conor/Aldo, I"m having about this fight. I really think Conor has a chance in this fight. I'm sure I've bought into the hype a lot and I still fully expect Mayweather to coast to a win...but if something unbelievable happens, I'm just clarifying right now I have a weird feeling it was going to.

Serious problems reported with the UFC streaming service, people paying and not getting the stream, being told they wouldn't get a refund.

Chargebacks might affect their total buys.

Apparently there were over 5,000 empty seats at T-Mobile on Saturday.

Priced themselves out of a full house. Potentially didn't break the gate record after all.

Not sure what this means for the PPV buyrate.

Some of the UFC fighters have been salty over Snoop Dogg's commentary on the Contender series.

Alan Jouban is especially incensed over this IG post by Dogg and is calling for his removal.

Dogg is probably bringing the UFC attention they wouldn't otherwise be getting. Does that translate to dollars into the pockets of the fighters? I don't know how to quantify that. Stephen A. Smith works for ESPN for the same reason.
