Actually, if they would have done the work, drafted legislation, held hearings, and created an alternate plan starting 7 years ago when they first started hating Obamacare, people would take them and their 1,267 votes to repeal it seriously. But they did none of that. They were never serious. Their lack of a viable alternative all this time later proves that.

When you have doctors and insurance megacorps fighting the legislation, it is a good indication the bill is a good one. "Please don't take away our massive government subsidies!" They may have debated ObamaCare early on, but what was passed had nothing to do with it. It was done by trickery, and the whole bill written in back rooms by Pelosi and Reid (mostly Reid).
