My Two Pesos: I think Stotts undermined his initial message here. It appears from my reading of these quotes that Stotts took the time and effort to begin to instill a sense that, "we know you can make threes, but if you want to play you have to play defense". Great so far. Then he undermines that message, and his true colors come out loud and clear, when he interrupts his young ward and sends the message that offense is still more important. Which is it? That Stotts wants his players to make their shots is a 'no shit Sherlock' moment. No basketball player, least not a guard in the C.J. mold, needs to be told to make shots. If Stotts wants his team to play defense, he needs to harp on it. Not interrupt his young players while they are vowing to play defense, to tell them and the world that, yeah, offense is still more important. I hope it was more of a leadership brain fart on his part and not indicative of the daily message he sends his players.
Maybe if you guys stopped talking about it, it wouldn't happen as much? You're obviously contributing to it by coming in here and calling her attractive, as many others have already done.
It's like the old "fox in a henhouse", only the other way around. Like a hen in a rooster house. Only that doesn't flow right. Maybe if there were a one-syllable synonym for rooster...
