McGahee and Jacobs to work out this week

    They should've signed a veteran when Brown went down. I would assume one of them will be signed.

    I wanted Dwyer but looks like he's headed back to Pitt. I can't believe we're actually going to work Jacobs out. Although having a guy on offense who shows a little emotion might be a good thing right about now

    They need a vet in here and should've done it after Brown got hurt.

    If we grabbed one of those guys (or Beanie Wells or any other scrap heap RB) and they were on the roster for the first game, their salary would be guaranteed for the year. Sign them after week 1, and they are not guaranteed. I'm guessing Reese & co. didn't want to risk paying guaranteed money for damaged RBs, and thought they could get by for 1 game with Wilson as the every down back. Swing and a miss on that one Jerry.

    The problem I have is they suddenly realized Wilson can't block? Don't try to get away cheaply when it comes to protecting the QB.

    I'd take McGahee. Jacobs was finished years ago, and I don't want him and his piss-poor attitude back. McGahee actually may have something left.
