As a fellow Beaver fan, do you also find yourself wondering who will be our first loss? Like expecting the hit to come, but not sure where it will come from.
Because of the Lillard hype, I'm very excited about the season. If he proves to be a bust, though, I will lose interest fast. Go Blazers
I'm definitely not as amped for the season as I normally would be but that has little to do with the Blazers. Having a 9 month old has definitely shifted my focus. However, I'm exponentially more excited about a rebuilding effort with Dame, Leonard, etc.... than heading in to another season with the likes of Crawford and Wallace.........oh, and there's definitely something to be said about Nate not being here. I was a Nate supporter but I think it's pretty clear that from a players perspective they never felt like they were used properly. Even if that isn't true, I'm definitely interested in seeing a completely different brand and style of basketball in Rip City. There is plenty going on to keep my interest.
I will say I'm more excited about this season than last season and I think we'll see some fun and fast basketball, plenty of grit to hang in there with the contenders for the first three quarters, our guys will not get calls down the stretch so we'll lose a lot, and a good enough record to get a lottery pick somewhere around 6.
Saw this on Victor's twitter page. WOW, that is a lot of balls to sign! ______ insert HCP wife joke here______
I made a quick Lillard wallpaper from the media day portrait, if anyone wants to use it... http://fav.me/d5gth6e
