    Understood. The thing about fighting fire with fire, is everything just gets burnt down. I think I know who you are referencing, and I don't think they are bad people, or out to try to purposely fuck with anyone. I think they are set in their conviction and aren't bashful to speak it. When people have such a stronghold in their way of thinking, myself included, they can sometimes get abrasive and it can be taken negatively. We should all work not to be so foolhardy. We can all "take over* threads at some point, even you. Humility goes a long away. Again we can accept others opinions without believing in them. We would all do well to remember that. Indeed respect is mutual and much of it must be earned, but we should all at least have some starting level of it for each other. It is a rule, it so happens. It shouldn't have to be.

    Maybe the poster you have mentioned just will never get it or maybe they don't fully get the impact they are having and would change if they truly knew. It's likely they may even feel they are being misheard and the victim of insults. The issue at hand is we aren't hearing each other. We all need to listen better.

    I'd like to pm you more about this and them separately to work this out. I would like to know if multiple people and it seems they are, see the same issue. I welcome all Pms. I think it's better to work to resolve this kind of thing then to let it keep going.

    Im sorry. This is such a lazy ass selfish take and further cements my previous posts. Im almost 50 and i look to try to be a better person every day.
    Sometimes that comes from internal thoughts and observances and behaviors. Sometimes it comes from listening to outside influences and suggestions. I may not always like them but i damned sure make sure i at least acknowledge and try to understand why someone is saying I can improve something about myself.

    Your lack of desire to want to improve yourself for the betterment of your conversations on here is extremely selfish….

    and no one can ignore you because you post sooooo often it makes it confusing. But of course i don't expect you to understand that because you don't care about others happiness. Very telling…

    Height with shoes has added 1 inch to 1 1/2 inches to the height w/out shoes in the past. Height with shoes was not recorded at the 2023 combine.

    Ive pretty much said my peace though. Its obvious someone just isn't going to listen at all to anyone who is trying to explain why people have issues with him. He just said he isnt gonna change or even try to change, so not sure there is much more to discuss. :)

    I do really appreciate your levity here though. This place would likely burn down if it wasn't for your interventions.

    So am I free to attack anyone who continually just posts "Dame is not leaving." Is it cool that I can get frustrated and tell them they're an idiot because they keep posting the same thing over and over?

    I don't care if you have issues with my style or my opinions. I care if you or anyone else personally attack me. If you're incapable of fighting the topic, I'm done with you. I put you on ignore. I try to avoid you and the others that dislike me. I'm not doing anything beyond that.

    Adding a top notch wing to the lineup , with Dame as the starter , is not "Mortgaging the future". Plus , everyone , in any sport , and is a special talent , gets paid. So leave the money out of it.

    Why are some not willing to trade a a few future 1st, to acquire said talent around Dame who's still in his prime.

    But feel unproven draft picks , somehow , deserve to have a team built around them and access to make that happen? Especially when , by the time Dame retires , they will STILL be young.

    And the Blazers will have access to those picks going forward. The throwing to the curb, for something new , is what i detest most in today's society.

    Dame just went to Paris with Grant and now is renting out a restaurant for dining Draymond probably with some other players and friends...I'd say Dame hasn't skipped a beat at going after his goals. We end up with both those guys we're going to be a homecourt playoff team.

    I hear you. Whether you are openly a fan of another team or under the guise of a Blazer fan, trolling is not openly tolerated. A poster was just banned for this very thing...well that is part of why they were banned.

    Posters here seem to have little respect for the mods or believe we aren't watching diligently and allowing this or that. While we aren't omnipresent, we see more than you think and we handle more than you know.

    If you are trolling one way or the other we see you and we are watching. If you get banned and try to come back with another name or even the same name written differently, even years later, we know. You are redflagged. We see you. We are watching.

    We seriously do want to make this place better and we are always open to your thoughts on that. We have done quite a bit of work since I have been a mod here. We cleaned up OT for the most part, and we have worked on our own free time to watch over this forum and jump in and stop bickering and insults.

    You guys seem to expect us to ban everyone who has had a bad day or who steps out of line. There would not be very many people here if that were the case. We should not be expected to be like abusive police officers beating mofos down. We are more akin to fire fighters working to put out fire after fire. We are doing our best.

    You have had an issue with me ever since I made a joke in your thread about blazer fans being old if they were alive for the championship. I didn't mean for that to be insulting. It was meant to be a joke. I apologize because sometimes my jokes aren't interpreted as jokes and they don't land. But I don't attack people for disagreeing with me. I attack people for attacking me.
