+1 for truth. It's not a meltdown if one has been able to see the writing on the wall for some time . . .
I honestly think we will lose this series but I think we lose in 6. NO has to feel very confident, maybe overconfident, right now and closing out a team in the playoffs isn’t easy.
No melting down here because I'm not that surprised. I thought they would win the series but that they are being out coached and our smallish back-court can't guard anyone is not exactly breaking news. That our offense is so 3-point oriented that if another team takes that away, we have nothing is nothing new either. It's very disappointing but not enough for a meltdown. I've wanted Stotts gone for a couple of years and never thought Dame/CJ worked as a key to being a contender. I'll save my meltdown for when something is really unbelievable.
Going small and keeping Nurk on the bench was tough to watch. Yes it did have it's moments but you can't run with that for the entire fourth quarter.
My “meltdown” is that Stotts absolutely refuses to make any changes or adjustments. He continues to do the exact same things and somehow expects magical improvement to occur. That’s truly the definition of insanity.
I don't really agree with that at all. He did plenty different last night. It's the team not the coach. IMO
There are those who were salty and those who downright were blasting Stotts/Olshey. But think about it. There has been little change and the change that has happened i can't say will really help the team. They are depending on Leonard aka "NARDS" to make up for the loss of Davis.
I was admittedly pretty hard on Olshey/Stotts. They are depending on Collins to make up for Davis. Meyers will get minutes and shoot a bunch of 3s
You encouraged him. I knew he wanted to act nice and then rub it in when the Blazers won. Whoops, jinxspeed strikes again.
