Re: Memphis/Texas A&M The refs are just awful, all of them, this whole tourny... HOPE MEMPHIS FEELS GOOD ABOUT THIS ONE!what a f'n ripoff..
Re: Memphis/Texas A&M 1.1 seconds was way too much but I'm not sure it would have made a difference in the outcome. It would have been a little closer of a shot but it still would have been under tight defense.
Re: Memphis/Texas A&M the commentators were just talking about how the refs were extremely fair. But I knew itll be like this, yall just cant accept the fact Memphis is a elite team and yall have to make excuses...so whatever.
Re: Memphis/Texas A&M it was not a bad call, at first the refs assumed that the ball went out of bounds in .1 seconds. However, when dozier hit the ball the ball did not immediatley go out of bounds. It bounced then bounced over to the scorers table. It was crystal clear. good win
Re: Memphis/Texas A&M Thats what I thought, but my brother told me that it isnt considered out until it touches outve bounds...so if you watch it again, it was 1.1 seconds.

Re: Memphis/Texas A&M We have a better record...longer win streak, we beat them in the tourney, our best defender gets fouled out, our best scorer has a sprained ankle, our scoring big man barely played the 1st half, AND we played in a hostle enviroment...sure they're better than us

And I can't believe Acie missed that lay-up. Ugh, I hate how after such great games, the refs decide it. (Kansas-SIU: Missed shotclock violation, 2 points should not have been counted/Goaltend on that one play at the end, forgot the details, but when Wright(I think) slapped the rim.) And my hand hurts from punching sh*t. :ranting: [/rant]
Re: Memphis/Texas A&M austringriz you have no common sense, we all know it was an upset. grizz101 said the better team always moves on, well kingjamez pointed out its not true hence UNLV beat Wisconsin and this was a game where Texas A&M was the better team too but lost
Re: Memphis/Texas A&M <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>longer win streak</div>Don't give me that crap. Look at who they play. They are in a chump division. All the good teams went to the Big East. That conference will never be what it used to be. Good thing Memphis wont be moving much further if Ohio State wins.
Re: Memphis/Texas A&M And that Acie Law layup was a tough layup missed with 43 seconds left in the game you cant blame anything on him, gotta blame the big men for letting Memphis get 4 rebounds at the end
