Travis blocked Miles first shot attempt, so cut him a break tonight.

Batum may be the teams best finisher on the fast-break, amazing hands and body control. He didn't play the entire 4th, I believe? Why? God. Why?

I saw a shot of KP in the stands and he had a cup of coffee, methinks he's in for a long night.

    Fuck the refs.

nothing we can't get elsewhere with better defense.

Outlaw has experience hitting big shots in the 4th. That is why he was in there. And he delivered. As always.

Like I already said, Roy had a pretty bad night before hitting that shot against Houston but I didn't hear anyone complain about him after the game.

I would like to see a trade tomorrow for Butler, RJ or somebody else we havn't heard of but not VC. I don't mind giving up Outlaw but have to admit we will miss him in the 4th qtr. I hope who ever we trade for can also step up. I'm also hoping we will start winning early where we don't need the 4th qtr big shot.

Heh... Yeah. Great defenders who can hit clutch shots with the game on the line are a dime a dozen. The league is just overflowing with playmaking, lockdown defenders. Can't get away from em.

It's not even Outlaw's offense that worries me. I hate his bad shots, but most people know he can get it going at any time.

What worries me, is his defense. He simply lets people drive past him and if they miss, he doesn't go for the rebounds. At least a guy like Batum hustles and disrupts numerous players. You know when Mayo went for the layup at the end of the game? Who allowed him to penetrate? Outlaw. When Batum was on Mayo, he forced him to take jumpers.

Maybe and I admit he is a good player but we don't need him especially if they want Rudy and picks with RLEC. That's just crazy and if KP falls for Thorn's bullshit we need to fire him and that's from someone that's loves KP as our GM.

Agreed. Which is why KP isn't falling for it.

Serg+Outlaw+Raef. If they don't want it, we move on.

average defenders who don't negatively affect the game for the first 3 quarters and can hit clutch shots aren't that hard to find.

Yup. So, if we're all in agreement, I'll pass on our decision to the Nets. :ghoti:

Agreed. And players who can create their own shot at will, hit the three, and make clutch plays from the bench with reasonable contracts? How common are those?

Really? Name some better clutch shooters than Outlaw when the game is on the line. Keep in mind that the stats were posted last week, so I'll know if you are BSing or not.

Those are simply game winners, not points in the clutch.

Theoretically, if you have players who play all 4 quarters and not just the 4th, you won't need a guy who has to be clutch in the 4th, especially if we're blowing out the other team. RJ > Outlaw.

Man, apparently game-winning shots aren't worth what they used to be...

Outlaw's 4th quarter points have been posted as well. The poster stated that players like Outlaw could be found pretty much anywhere. I just want some proof.

As for points in the clutch, the Knick game and also this game featured clutch shots by Outlaw.

Way too much time is being wasted criticizing a player who is helping the team win close games.

i'm complaining about his defense, not his offense. because of his defense overall he's a statistical negative for the blazers and his offense isn't enough to offset that.

So NJ likes Sergio better than Dooling? Or they just want a 3rd pg. And everyone loves Outlaw but blazer fans. Its a pity how far Frye has dropped.
