The Bulls have DWade at SG. I do think they're happy with him.

If they're giving up Butler, I think they want a guy who can start at SF for him.

Otherwise they're stuck playing McBuckets or Mirotic at SF.

I take it you're suggesting that Crabbe can't play the 3? Hmmm...not sure if I agree.

Either way, it doesn't matter because there's no way a deal like this happens.

The Bulls likely consider him a SG, whether he can play SF or not. They might actually feel the same way about ET.

EDIT: Crabbe is listed 6'6"/210 lbs, ET 6'7"/220lbs

You wouldn't trade Ed and Myers? To me that is like trading nothing, a small plus in Ed and a big minus in Leonard.

FWIW, I think the Bulls would want Plums over Vonleh in this scenario. They're giving up their starting C.

I'd sure be tempted if we couldn't get a guy like Ibaka. I just don't understand why Atlanta is trading Milsap. He actually has a year and a half left on his contract. http://www.spotrac.com/nba/atlanta-hawks/paul-millsap-2754/
Considering that, I can only think they want a really lot for him; otherwise why trade him?

Sure they would. I'm sure they'd want Harkless over Turner too. Personally, I'd have to think long and hard about including Plumlee in that impossible hypothetical deal, unless I were making a separate deal for Millsap (which would be amazing, BTW).

How many picks would this require...?

Answer, more than we could possibly include. Dare to dream though.

Player option. He is going to opt out of his contract this summer.

Rough guesstimate is your deal puts us slightly into the LT. By ~$300K.

Small price to pay if true, but I think the in and out from the Blazers end are actually almost identical.

    Blazers out ~$64.1M, in ~$64.8M. We're ~$500K under LT.

How are you calculating only 64.1M out? the graphic shows 50.7M to Chicago, 14.1M to Atlanta. That's 64.8M.

People are being totally reckless. SMH. If we actually traded Dame, I would break down.

    Bulls 50.7M in + Hawks $7.4M + 6.7M

    Yeah, it's exactly even.

He has a player option after this year and has already said he will opt out.

If a deal made us a better team, I would gladly trade Dame. Butler is a better player, IMO.
