What would you give for Melo? His stock isn't super high and he would at least be a better scorer than Hark or Aminu. Defense...... not so much.

Cleveland turned down Love for Melo. Supposedly.

Melo won't come here, he holds all the cards with his no trade clause

A Dame, CJ, ET, Plums, Noel starting 5 would be interesting. 4 good passers to throw lobs to Noel.
Now could a combo of everyone else, including draft picks do it? I would think so

Yeah, there's only five left at my Best Buy. Thank God I pre-ordered a Noel on Amazon.

    The spacing would be atrocious.

Agreed. The only way to make that lineup work is to get a power forward who's good defensively and can shoot from the perimeter, rather than Plumlee.

Vonleh if he actually develops? 10%, 20% chance?

Yeah maybe you are right. But the same unit with Vonleh has not looked bad YET. But I understand teams will adapt. But Noel does have a mid range shot ( 10 feet) that is not horrible and with 3 guards in there with he and Plumlee there would be a lot of movement.

He's so far away from that right now, but if he improved hugely, he could fit the template. Right now, he's an immense offensive minus (at least, going by his TS% and Offensive Rating) and not good defensively either. He does show the ability to shoot and he's flashed some rim protection ability, so it's not a total stretch. But he's at least a couple years away, I'd guess, if he gets there at all.

No thanks. He's already developed, true vet and to old. What in God's green earth would we do with a player like that?

Not all that encouraging if history is any guide.

I never go by some chart on a player how good he will be. Right now he is the 5 option on this team he doing the little thing to help his team. He sitting picks and rebounding and when does get chance score he been doing that the last 3 games.

I saw this quote a few weeks ago...
It implies that Crabbe & Meyers are being shopped. Any new rumors to speak of?

It also doesn't say explicitly they aren't looking to trade Dame.

Yeah, swap Vonleh/Harkless for Plumlee/Turner and spacing becomes much less of an issue, and it doesn't negatively impact our defense (and may actually be a positive).

At worst, he's equal to Aminu on both ends of the floor. At worst. And in the 3rd quarter last night he showed he has the potential to be SO MUCH better. But even if he doesn't improve at all, he should be starting over Aminu for as long as they're both on the roster.
