    But it wasn't an "I told you so" bump which are the bumps you have a problem with. I like the "Holy fuck we dodged a bullet" bumps. I think that's a good use of a bump.

    No, I have a problem with thread bumps that clutter the board. I find "I told you so" threads annoying, but they're relevant. There's nothing against the rules about them. Bumping old threads that are unnecessary are against the rules, in my opinion. That thread that Jlprk bumped was for no purpose other than to create more drama about Mixum.

    That was how mods and MM took it, but my purpose was the same as this thread's bump: A player with former connections to the Blazers is on the outs with his current team and is becoming available in the market. I didn't think about Mixum being a factor, but like all his threads, others made him the main subject of discussion.

    It reminds me of when Detroit traded Tripucka for Adrian Dantley. Tripucka was a league star in Detroit but flopped in Utah. Many criticized his effort, including Bill Russell. Sometimes a white SF with curly hair fits one system but not another.
