You'll be the hit of the party! (different type of 'hit' in the wrong party though).

Toronto offered Valanciunas + 1st (late)

Not sure how Weltman would've re-signed Lowry and Cousins. With DD making max and Carroll making 2/3rds max that is a lot to pay out to four players.

Walton, like him or not, knows a little about the game. He just laughed when his broadcast partner said Boogie was a top 10-15 player.

Then said he's wasted too much of his life talking about him.

Bill is for real...and genuinely a nice guy but it just doesn't translate to broadcasting games for me...he'd be better with Ernie Johnson and crew

    Hello darkness, my old friend
How comfortable would you be with Bill Walton as the Blazers' GM? He certainly wouldn't be my pick.

I actually like him a lot as a broadcaster, but that's because his opinions are unvarnished and immediate, and he has a colorful way of speaking. It's not because I think he's a great evaluator of talent. I think he'd make a great big man coach, though!

    Agreed.
I appreciate that he's genuinely being his kaleidoscopically tie-dyed self and not a watered-down, corporatized talking head.
