Re: Heat after A.Miller Yeah, I just thought it was interesting given "another move coming" type scenario. Also yes, I failed at reading comprehension and quoted my failing. Sweet.
Rain? I think you mean HAIL...as in: "A hail of bullets greeted young Dr. Darius whilst he groped a girl with a minor meth problem. No really, she can handle it. She's only spending her tip money on it...oh right she only gets tips."
Right because since Beasley was caught with weed, he and Chalmers along with Josh Howard are the ONLY players who smoke herb. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=How many players smoke weed in the NBA?
I don't recall saying that they were the only ones, so I don't really get your point. I know alot of players smoke, OTHER players have nothing to do with Beasley though... The point is more to the fact that Beasley was dumb enough to post a picture of himself online with weed in the picture. On top of that he's already gone to rehab for alcohol... The guy clearly has substance abuse issues, and I don't necessarily think bringing him HERE of all places will improve that. Kind of like having an AA meeting at a bar.
I reallllly like Chalmers....if we could get Beasley and Chalmers for Rudy and Miller I would do that in a heartbeat. Chalmers is solid on defense and is still really young. I think Beasley has a breakout year next year for a couple reasons....IF he stays...he has Bosh and Wade to play off of and that in itself will provide more scoring opportunities...If he leaves...he really has something to prove. That kid has CRAZY talent...it's all about how bad he wants it.
Rudy was a fan favorite during his rookie year, he had one of the top selling jerseys on our team. Then he had a down sophmore year, so there were a large stock of unsold jerseys since demand was lower than projections. Either that, or the Blazer brass has informed the employees at the Blazer store Rudy will be traded and to mark down his items now to generate extra revenue..... Hmmm I think the former is just a tiny bit more likely.
I think you are onto something....in that NO doesn't want Miller! So if Miami can take Miller in a three-way deal, we might be trying to pull off a deal to acquire Paul. Is this deal going to get done before the Lebron announcement? If Lebron has chosen Miami...it just might. If Lebron has chosen NY, then this deal might evaporate...and be limited to a Rudy for Chalmers trade.
So far, Chicago, New York and New Jersey are screwed. Only one winner from these teams tomorrow night....unless, of course Lebron goes with Miami, in which case, all three gambled and lost.
