Re: What a bunch of... I see him standing there talking to Stuart Scott and all I can think of is.....................................rapist.
BEAT LA BEAT LA Jerry Bus just ruined THAT trophy presentation, him and stewart scott standing in the middle of the screen. Lakers fans suck But I do finally agree with a Laker Magic Johnson that Phil is the best coach in the world and Kobe is the best player. That's the only compliment I can give
In defense of bad officiating, the Celtics got 38 Fts, to the Lakers 10 in Game 2 of the 2008 Finals. Leon Powe had 13 FTs in just over a quarter that game.
Re: BEAT LA BEAT LA Unless LeBron/Bosh/Wade (two of the three) team up together next year, I honestly don't see what is stopping the Lakers from three-peating next year, as much as I hate to think it.
Re: BEAT LA BEAT LA Bus did suck, and so do Laker fans. But the Lakers were the best team this whole series, and Kobe was the best player through out the series. It will be interesting to see where Jackson ends up after this season.
There is no defense for bad officiating. Why am I not surprised to see a Laker fan bring up such an odd entity?
Re: BEAT LA BEAT LA I believe that this is a valid statement, I truely do. But then this a HUGE IF, having a healthy roster. Roy, Oden, even Camby and Pryzbilla have some big time injury concerns. We just all have to hope for the best!
There's going to be bad officiating, you should appreciate that I would even admit it. A normal Laker fan wouldn't. If Boston had the benefit of certain calls, I should see the same people complaining about it. Usually life evens out for these NBA superstars.
He missed EIGHTEEN shots. He only made 6 shots. In the end, the refs picked their favorite team and sent them to the line all quarter long.
Re: BEAT LA BEAT LA Here's the gap between the Lakers and the Blazers this year: |............................................| Here's the gap between the Lakers and the Blazers when the Blazers are fully healthy: |.........................| It gets better, but this team still has a ways to go in terms of solidifying their roster and getting over against the 'playoff Lakers' (which I think is a vastly different animal than the 'regular season' Lakers)
Re: BEAT LA BEAT LA I really do to. Some coaching improvements needed, but I believe Roy, LA, and Oden is healthy is just as good a starting unit as either of these teams, and the current Blazer bench is better than anything the celtics or lakers have to offer.
