True enough ... I don't really want to get into it, but I know that it happens.

Under most circumstances you'd be right, but it's not universal.

Laker fans boo Bill Russell. Classy. Bus saying they're the best fans in the NBA is literally one of the god awful stupidest comments uttered in history.

Unless history is doomed to repeat itself, why the pessimistic attitude?

    Re: BEAT LA BEAT LA

I'm getting older, long years of heartbreak and "just missed it by this much" seasons have built a certain level of needing to see it to believe it in me. Unfortunately I'm not quite old enough to remember the championship in 77 to have that memory to hold onto (I was 2 at the time). I'll put it another way, two teams in the NBA hold almost half the championships since the 60s ... and they're still the teams winning them; history seems to repeat itself all the time, thank-you-very-much.

Re: Lakers won't 3peat next year!

I don't think the current players association has the same backbone like they have in years past. I think they're going to cave. Give the owners just about everything they want just to avoid a strike.

    Completely understandable.

But that begs the question, why are we even watching?

He should retire while he's on top, but he could coach forever if he wanted

    Re: BEAT LA BEAT LA

Hope springs eternal. I keep holding on thinking that one day they'll capture lightning in a bottle and go on another miracle run. It doesn't hurt that I have been a lifelong Packers fan; I endured miserable seasons throughout the 80s only to get the chance to enjoy a decade and a half of great football behind Favre and now they look to be great under Rodgers -- in a nutshell I've got options. (God forbid if I was a Bills fan like MIXUM ... I'd probably be just like him).

I posted that video as a joke. I mean, "she also had OJ's glove and three CSI Episodes in there, most diabolical draws ever."

Personally I think she had sex with Kobe and thought she could make money off of claiming she was raped... unlike Ben Roethlisberger, who is clearly a serial rapist.

I also think the refs gave the game to the Lakers in the 4th quarter. I think it was fairly obvious to anyone being truly objective that the refs favored LA on basically every call in the 4th.
