I have no idea how he wasnt sent off there. That was the only foul where it was too much IMO... the rest were good hard fouls.
I'm happy for everyone but Xavi, Busquets, and Iniesta. Everyone else was cool lol. And yes feel bad for me!!!
that should have been straight red and van bommel should probably have had 4 or 5 yellows. other than that i didn't think the fouls were bad on either side and the number of yellows given out was pretty excessive.
Maybe I'm a homer, but I didnt find Van Bommels over the top. But it was just weird, Puyol had his "Sweep the Leg" moment, but I'm guessing the ref played the advantage, but wasnt really an advantage with Casillas right there for it. Oh well, hats off to the Spaniards.
I thought the game sucked. watched 10-15 minutes of it at a german beer hall, got crowded but there was no excitement, you heard a bunch of "ooh and wows" but no "damn!" like you do with fast paced sports. oh well, maybe will catch it again in 4 years if its more interesting. at least spain won. todoloo motherfuckerrururururururururururu.
The final was boring as fuck, which was exactly what I expected. It was a super tight game where each side had only 4-5 good chances to score, and 2-3 great chances to score. The game involved the two best teams to have never won a World Cup and both sides were too chicken shit to take any risks. I don't blame them for their tactics given the stakes, but damn, don't put the whole fucking world to sleep, Jesus Christ! And I love soccer. The third place game was excellent even though it was nearly pointless.
possibly. But I did notice him hide his face when it was put on him and he looked down and saw what it was. It was enough struggling for me to notice he wanted to have more class than that.
