    lol your funny.

When we lose to them its a devastating loss and our team is garbage. When Dallas loses to them they are the best young team in the league.

Bayless is going to be better then Westbrook. I have watched both a lot and Bayless is the better player and even as good or better PG. It took Westbrook a while until he started playing well and if Bayless gets as much PT he will be a lot better then Westbrook IMO.

I love how you include the lotto pick in their core. If they were so good, they wouldn't be getting a lotto pick, no?

Unless they were tanking on purpose. In which case, smart move!

Denver about to lose to Detroit. That puts us tied with them in the loss column. Huge matchup Thursday

The Suns lost again - we're now 4 up in the loss column for a playoff spot.

Some nice loses around the conference....

Suns and Nuggets drop one on the same day.... me likey. I know we are "slipping" in the standing in the playoff race a bit, but it's nice to see one night when some top dogs take an important slide. I think we just need a small run here and Oden back we'll make this happen.:ghoti::cheers:

How does Suns losing help? They're like the 9th seed...team you guys better worry about is Utah ;) They could be first in division by end of the week

The Suns losing helps ensure a playoff spot. The other teams, especially Denver and Utah, losing helps us get a better seed in the playoffs.

Merged: Who do we root for?

This is going to get tough down the stretch! For example- tomorrow night, do we root for San Antonio or Dallas? Houston or Utah? On Thursday, Dallas or NOLA? When these teams match up, who do we want to win or lose? Somebody please let me know!

Re: Who do we root for?

Tomorrow you root for San Antonio. Houston or Utah is a tossup but Houston would probably be ideal in that scenario to prevent Utah from catching up. Thursday you root for Dallas because they'll only make up the game they lost while knocking New Orleans down a half game.

I want to move up in the standings so I'll be rooting for Dallas, Utah, and Dallas.

Re: Who do we root for?

Most of all, I'm rooting for Portland, Miami and Memphis. Atlanta would be a nice bonus as well. If those things happen, Blazer fans have had a great day. I'm also rooting for Houston, because not only are we fighting Utah for playoff positioning, we are also fighting them for the Northwest Division title. San Antonio and Dallas depends on whether you want as many teams below us to lose to ensure that we make the playoffs or as many teams above us to lose so we get a better seed. We only need one of the top nine to miss the playoffs for us to get in, and Phoenix would have five more losses than us if we win tomorrow and Miami also wins, so I don't feel as big of a need to root for the other team under us to keep losing, so I will root for Dallas, both against San Antonio and New Orleans.

I am not an optomist, so I will be rooting for the teams behind us to lose. Until I am pretty certain we are in, and then I will root for the teams ahead of us to lose.

Re: Who do we root for?

In Utah v Houston I'd root for Utah because the Blazers are trying to catch Houston for the #4 slot. So their loss brings the team closer, provided of course that Portland takes care of business.
