Madness. Thought he was a consensus top 10 pick.

Brilliant. Pay to Post, on a per-post basis, might just up the forum's BBIQ.

I don't see how Dallas passes him up. That's as close to a lock as I thought you could get.

    A couple thoughts.

    Neil historically doesn't draft freshman

Ntkilina is a lock down defender at the 1/2 perfect compliment off the bench for Dame and CJ you take that in a heartbeat. It would push the PF/C targets down to 20 anyway.

If Dennis Smith is still available at 9 (which I think he will be), isn't he a better prospect than Ntilikina?

I'm not as high on smith. But the general consensus says he is I guess.

Well he did draft Eric Gordon and DeAndre in 08, and Eric Bledsoe in 10. Hasn't since. But you have a point.

    Also doesn't draft internationals.

DX constantly updates their mock, and Givony definitely talks with agents/team personnel/etc. which usually reflects in his rankings. Their mocks are usually always the closest to what actually happens on draft day.

If he thinks there is a chance Ntilikina is there at 15, I would trust him. That said, if we pick up Ntilikina, I fully expect him to be traded.

Doesn't play defense and a lot of his shots he took in college won't translate to the NBA. Shoots a hook/floater with a low setpoint that works over college defenders but won't in the NBA. Can't jump well in traffic, so in the NBA where the game is more physical inside he'll struggle. He can shoot mid-range jumpers but probably wouldn't make them at more than a 45% clip (90 Points Per 100). He doesn't have great size and doesn't have the greatest motor, so rebounding could be an issue.

I see the upside people see, but I'd be pissed if we took him at 15. It's funny, because in the Rip City Radio Mock Draft he got picked at 15 and the guys LOVED that pick. I would hate it. I think there's a decent chance one of Mitchell, Z. Collins, or Ntilikina falls to us and any of those would be great.

My initial impression on him was so wrong, but he's really grown on me over the past month as a prospect. I'd take Frank and make him our lead third guard. I like him for 30 mpg as a PG next to CJ/Dame. He is the ideal partner next to either of those guys.

A good defender who can shoot and is pass first. He's like Evan Turner with a good shot. And he's only 18. Yes please.

Ntilikina is 6'5 with a 7'0 wingspan and is rumored to still be growing. He could play 3 positions (and be a much better version of Evan Turner). I wouldn't be opposed to trading #15 and #26 up to get him, or taking him if he falls. While he's labeled as a PG, just add some muscle to him and he could be our SF of the future. He'd give us a good defender at SF and would be a matchup nightmare there for other teams due to his quickness and playmaking. He'd be everything we wanted in Turner, but much, much better.

My dream draft would be trading a 2018 1st and #20 up to #12 to take Ntilkina, and then taking Collins or Mitchell at 15.

I really think that Mitchell as a 3rd guard and Ntilikina as a SF would be dynamic in 3 years.

My predication is we will come out with 2 players in this draft. One first and one 2nd. We will trade 20 and 26 for a protected 1st round pick next year and unload at least 1 of our veterans. The 2 teams I am looking at is the Knicks and the Nets.
