CJ doesn't have any business being available in a trade, either.

So you would kill a trade to get Kristaps over picks 15, 20, and 26? Who cares about mid to late first rd picks if you can get The Unicorn!

Just because other teams can't beat the offered package doesn't mean it's a smart move.

I didn't say anything about killing any trade. Just surmised at what they responder was referring to.

We should not offer CJ and three picks for Porzingis. If we include CJ, it should be a straight swap only, then with no. 15 we try to replace him with Mitchell or Kennard (I don't want Kennard).

Players I don't want to come out with from this draft are Kennard, John Collins and probably TJ Leaf (torn on this one though).

Yes, I'd not want to lose three picks and a borderline All-Star caliber player to get Porzingis.

I don't like him either. He's also 23 already so it's not like he can take 2-3 more years to develop before looking like an NBA player.

I'm ready to just let it happen instead of trying to say what will or won't or should or shouldn't.

I think fans tend to over think the value of players in trades. when was the last time a proven legit star was traded for an equally good player? or a high lotto pick?

    Question for the masses:
OG shot 45% from 3 last year, 31% this year. He only shot 56% from the line last year. What do you make of that, and what do you make of him?

Considered by some as the best defensive player in the draft. Can guard multiple positions. Of course, he has an injury history.
The Blazers seem very interested. (damn, forgot the link, but it was a story on what the blazers said to OG and Allen).

If the picks were so insignificant, why would the knicks want them?

And porzingis' true value is magnified because he plays in New York. He's a good talent. He's not elite. CJ is a better offensive player.

@Wizard Mentor ... OG would be a Top-10 pick if not for his injury. He can guard multiple positions, shoots it okay from '3' and is a beast going to the rim. Reminds me a bit of Jaylen Brown from last year but with much more tenacious 'D'.

He indicated he would be back by November.

I think you overrate KP and underrate CJ. No way you give up 3 first rounders w CJ, who is probably the 3rd best SG in the league, imo.

So, high variance.... which many on this board claim to like, yet bitch about Meyers Leonard.

Anyway, the Blazers seem keen on the guy, and he's one of the guys I'd be interested in.

What's funny is the suns won't include Booker for Porzingis but we have members on here that would throw Dame or CJ (plus picks!) at NY without hesitating.

    Get a grip.
