That is a very long standing reach by Ike and even more for Deandre. (half an inch longer than Whiteside)

Gobert unbelievably has a 7'8 1/2 " wing and a 9'7" standing reach. Holy shit

since we are speaking of C's I find it surprising there is so little talk of Jonathon Jeanne since we missed out chance at Gobert and Jeanne had a good combine and appears to have moved up the draft boards a decent bit

Good point. This is my rationale why we should not put our faith in Vonleh ever getting much better than he is right now. His hands are huge but he cant catch the rock for shit and is constantly fumbling the ball when he tries to make his moves. We need to move up to get Zach Collins and I would package Vonleh and our pick this year to do it if it came to it.

Is it unreasonable to say I see a poor man's Durant in that video?

Whoever edited that thing did a great job!

Really? A big guy who can dunk. Didn't see any shooting or defense highlights. His team was also losing most every game in the highlights.

He might be great, but I couldn't tell from a dunk video.... but, yes, he can get up, and is aggressive doing so.

Fumbling the ball is a completely different story than having no/bad hands. Bad hands mean you can't catch it when it's thrown to you. Fumbling the ball usually means you're nervous. Vonleh doesn't have bad hands at all. He's just young, a little nervous, and wants to do well. I also think that you're 100% wrong about vonleh. In my opinion he has the biggest upside of anyone on the team.

You didn't watch all the video then. They showed all sorts of highlights of him shooting threes, squaring up, passing etc. They showed defensive highlights too...

Were you watching the same video as we were?

His high, quick release on his pull up jumper (and the dunks) reminded me of Travis Outlaw, but he did show the ability to take more than one dribble without losing the ball, something TO never managed to perfect.

However, I do have to question the level of competition. On most of those dunks and follow slams nobody even offered the tiniest bit of resistance. No attempt to play defense or box out. Just let the big guy dunk and get out of the way.

The rest of his team looks pretty much like a Sunday night rec league team at The Hoop in Beaverton, except for No. 3. He looks like the 5'5" bald guy who gets picked last in an over 45 church league pick up game.

    I've heard of that guy.

I still think Vonleh has the biggest upside on the team.

At what age? Nurkic is only 8 months older than Bolden and has spent the last three years in the NBA. He would have been a teenager at the time and didn't start playing basketball until the age of 14. Nurk would have been raw as fuck back then. It made sense for him to start out against lower level competition.

Bolden has been playing his whole life (his dad is a former professional basketball player) who is a more experienced, more polished player. He should really be playing against tougher competition at this age.

Bolden does look good on tape. This year is going to be fascinating. I think between picks 10 and 45 there are going to be several all-stars picked. Just now clear on which ones they are. At 15, 20 and 26 we should be in a great place to have a good chance at one or two of them.

I'm not comparing him vs. Nurk. What I'm saying is they both played in the same league against the same types of players.
