Here's an interesting way of thinking about the draft. Instead of thinking about who you want at 15 and 20 think of making a list of 7-8 guys that you would be happy with the combination of any 2.

Take it another level and make a list of 13-14 guys you would be happy with a combination of any 3.

Also make a list of your top 15 that you would want for the Blazers. We are assured one of them. And then during the draft when a different player is selected that is not on that list...... the number of options for Portland increases.

Actually maybe we just make a list of our top 9 favorites and exclude the top 6 we know that will be gone: Fultz, Ball, Fox, Tatum, Issac and Jackson.

Think we can all agree on a short list?

Monk and Smith are also guaranteed to be gone before we pick, and Ntilikina is pretty much a top-10 lock as well.

This draft is so unbelievably deep, I think it is much easier to make a list of the top 3 players we DON'T want... here is mine:

    1. Ivan Rabb
    2. TJ Leaf
    3. Kyle Kuzma

Most other players in draft have at least some quality I can get excited about.

Yeah that makes sense. That brings us to 9, maybe we identify 1 more that is no brainer to make a top 10 list. (Maybe Markkanen?)

Now we make an additional list of 10 who we would be fine taking with 15 and 20. We would be assured to get 2 players off of that list.

Here is my 2nd top 10 (That does not include the real top 10)

I would not mind having 2 of these guys (15/20)

    Mitchell
    Zach Collins
    OG Anunoby
    Justin Jackson
    Patton
    Allen
    Leaf
    Giles
    Ferguson
    John Collins

^^^ I wouldn't mind starting with Jackson. I think he is one of the most contribution ready players available.

The only thing that would ruin my draft night is if we pick Ivan Rabb... if you look up mediocre in dictionary you will see his picture... a no upside journeyman... another Ed Davis

What if instead of Jackson/Leaf, we took Patton and Anunoby (projected at 17 and 22 in their mock) along with Ojeleye at 26? More palatable?

This is the first video i've watched of Isaac. I want him more now.

He sound like he say's Mo Harkless when asked who he talks to most in the NBA. MO told him how to be a real professional according to Isaac. Sounds like a done deal to me. 1:23 in the clip.

They're both from NYC so that's probably the connection.

If the Blazers has target Issac they need trade up to at least 6 or 7 spot.

Not sure how, but I hope Neil can get it done. He's the one in this draft for me.

Yea that going to be a problem for Neil to do. To me if he can't trade for his target he need to do one or two things either use one of the draft choice to get rid of one of his bad contract and get future pick or just keep all 3 picks.
