That would require a third team with assets to interest Indiana. Fuck helping out Cleveland.

Inb4 pg goes to cavs without having to get rid of love. Big 4 to compete with warriors 4 yet again next season in finals. Missed this tweet but yup he's going to Cleveland. Makes sense

I'd be fine with getting Love if we didn't give up too much. CJ and Dame would just feed Love and Nurk in the post all season long and then let Love pop out for a three.

I am not sure why Indiana would trade with Cleveland, besides Kyrie and LBJ who would you want? Love would be miserable there. He desperately wanted out of Minnesota........Indianapolis is worse? Potential and City

The Pacers need draft picks or young talent at this stage. Cleveland has neither

Probably means they're trying to figure out where to send Love.

Exactly. They'd need a third team, someone with assets to please Indiana, contracts/cap space, AND an interest in Kevin Love. That's a tough one. Maybe Denver? Portland is another but we better not.

Crabbe and Leonard for Love would not be horrible. If we kept all our picks. Not great but not horrible. Cleveland would have to kick in something else to Indiana.

I'd probably do that. But I don't know about Indiana. Giving up George for crabbe and Meyers. Lol. But it goes back to...why should we help Cleveland out? If crabbe and Meyers and a pick is all they'd want go get George for ourselves. Olshey has helped Cleveland enough.

Yeah unless Cleveland has something else Indiana wants. But you are right there is not much else. I guess we could give them Cleveland's pick. Love is worth 26. And as much as I like Crabbe......he was signed to eventually be moved in a trade IMO. This is such a scenario. You have to have a surplus of big contracts in order to get other good players in trades.

26, crabbe and Meyers? Yeah I'd do that. For George. I'd do it for love too but I don't want to help Cleveland out.

Why would two bad contracts and a late pick be enough to get Paul George? On one hand we see fans willing to attach 3 picks to shed Leonard's contract, on the other hand we think that he has such great value that combined with a very late pick and Crabbe he gets us Paul George or Kevin Love. Unless it's Crabbe who has untapped superstar potential?

I agree. Cleveland and Golden State have turned into the Lakers and Celtics of this generation. This is where I think he lands.

Or Portland would need to relinquish a first.

I think Love would be perfect in Stotts offense and think he has the chance to really flourish. Maybe more than any other place he has been. I do wonder, Nurkic and Love are similar. I wonder if that has any potential negative effect.

How are nurkic and Love similar lol. One prefers living on the perimeter while the other eats in the paint.

As long as Kevin is ok on living on the outside. But they are both 6-10 above whose strengths are similar. Nurkic is a better shot blocker. But they both can get it done from inside and outside. I guess I'm wondering from an athleticism standpoint. Would we be giving anything up up front.
