Man, his dunks just look so damn good. Most bigs have sloppy dunks, but the Beiber-Yeti really looks great!
Is it just me, or does he have kind of a weird almost tear-drop kind of hook shot. Most guys who take that hook extend the arm fully and then flip the wrist. He seems to just push the shot out before he extends fully. It's just kind of a funny Tony Parker-kind of looking shot that you just don't see big men take. I wonder if it's a product of his late growth spurt and how he played mostly guard in high school. Anyway, it's pretty effective. At least for now.
Yeah, there's kind of a Z-bo like quality to that shot, where it goes in but you really aren't sure if it was how he meant it to the first couple times you see it. I've seen enough of it, though, to realize it's just how he does it.
That's literally my go to kind of shot whenever I'm playing basketball, but that's because I don't like jumping and it's just easier. He has such good touch and it's so easy to get that kind of shot off at anytime for a 7 footer, that should be a great move.
It would be great to find some big man mentor for him to help him use his body to be a better defender. Przy would have been perfect.
