Pat Riley needs to make some quick adjustments before we end up losing game 3 as well. I would love to see Shaq dominate this game, he shoots around 70% at home and I think hes embarrased from the poor performance he had in game 2. I'm pretty confident we will win this game -I hope.
If Miami wins this game it is because of their outside shooting since Dallas's goal is to stop Shaq at all cost. Make Walker beat you from the outside or Wade making some great moves to the basket. Dallas is ready to double Shaq every time he gets the ball.
This series is far from over, as the saying goes, a series hasnt started until a team wins on the road. Obviously the advantage belongs to Dallas and Miami has their backs against the wall, but all Dallas did was hold serve on their home floor. If Miami can do the same and make the necessary adjustments, this could go back to being a series. Having said that, I hope Dallas can continue to play the way they are playing and defeat the Heat. I think Miami will win game three, but hopefully Dallas will steal one in Miami to have a chance to close the series on their home court.
Dallas is a very good road team. They've actually had trouble holding serve and the only time they did they ended up sweeping the Grizzlies. I'm not saying the Heat are the Grizzlies but that it is very doubtful or almost impossible for the Heat to win all 3 games. Dallas could end up winning in 5.

Miami coming out strong leading 52-43 at half, they have won 22 consecutive when leading by halftime.
Congrats to Heat on this victory. Danny Crawford strikes again. Now I'm not going to use refs as an excuse but what's that, 0-10 now when he refs a playoff game. Last minutes were some crap imo but blame goes to Avery and the Mavs as well. I thought Avery made a mistake in playing that 2 guard lineup out there with Wade going off. For some reason Howard was put on him for some key plays and Wade took it at him. I think Griff should have been out there when we had the lead to keep the pressure on the Heat defensively as we went cold. I have to say though, good win for Heat, because I did not want to see a 3-0 lead, this is the Finals and as much as I'm a Mavs fan, I want good basketball and competitive basketball. Here's to game 4 Heat fans.
Wow, amazing job Heat in the last 6 minutes with a win 98-96. The third quarter was a slump for the Heat but after Dwayne Wade started keeping his eye on the basket and not stopping for nothing they came back. 42 points and 11 rebounds for Dwayne Wade. When Shaq got the chance to bring Miami back into the game with free throws he did it. Miami did everything right in the last few minutes, however I was troubled to see how many easy shots the Mavs got in the paint, they got to control that area more in the next few games. Great job attacking the basket and getting up the open oppurtinities Heat, you're back in the series now!
Amazing 4th quarter turnaround! I don't know the exact number, but Miami turned the ball over WAAAAAAY too many times, and still managed to pull out the victory. How, you ask? Dwyaaaaaaaaaaaane Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaade (as the arena announcer would say). Unbelivable. He willed this team even though Shaq had 6-7 turnovers and they missed a lot of easy layups (eh hem.. Antoine Walker.. eh hem..). That was a great game and I am extremely happy Miami made this a series, because game 2 was just an embarrassment.Way to go Miami!

Wade was just a total beast, I can't give him enough credit for playing banged up and with the flu while still putting up 41 points and basically putting the team on his shoulders. As for the Shaq free throw doubters, check the sig.

Who saw Dirk's face after that steal :winkglasses:
Hey Rok, you guys are 1-10 with Danny Crawford with your only win coming against......oh man do I hate you.......Tough loss for the Mavs. I was hoping they'd just finish this series in four. Oh well. I guess my prediction will be exactly correct. I'm hoping it is. Most of the stuff I said has happened and my prediction for the games was:MavsMavsHeatMavsHeatMavs Go West!
LMAO.. Does anyone notice the Heat PA Announcer sounds high. loll...Congrats Heaaaatt.. DWADE WAS SICK. lol. Dirk Choked its.. cooooooool. tho
Hey, do any of you all remember that foul on Damp with 2 minutes left? Wasn't it Shaq actually pushing-off of Damp? The ref was right there... so turns out to make the Mavs lose...sucks a lot, but Dallas just needs to win Game 4.Dallas has been in worse situations.
You mentioned it like three times already Waqas, it was a bad miss call but it happens, still doesn't lose us the game. Also, my bad I forgot about game 6. I don't really look at that one much because only Suns fans crying after the game conjure up in my mind. Edited: Double posted.
I agree with Rok here. When looking at the game as a whole, there were calls that were bad on both sides, but in the last quarter most of the bad calls went against the Mavs... Shaq's pushoff, Haslem's steal was a bit questionable, there was a foul where they ran off a good 7 seconds off the clock and didn't reset it, and Wade probably should have fouled out on that bump of JET, even if it was a stupid foul. Regardless, every Mav was completely non-clutch in that final quarter, so they didn't really deserve it. I thought the final play was a bit poorly drawn up. Honestly, it looked in the 3rd like Pat Riley was about to go commit suicide, but he came through along with his players. It's a disappointing loss for the Mavs. I think anyone who's going to point fingers at Dirk needs to check themselves though. He's done so much for the Mavs in these playoffs, and it's ridiculous to act that way about a single missed free throw.
If you noticed, when Dirk went to the free throw line you could say Avery behind him yelling "Calm Down!!!"
