God this series is something else, you don't know who is going to bring it, no consistancy at all. I'm happy for the Heat, god I hope they can go back to Dallas and take but you don't know what Miami or Dallas team will show up. Hopefully Payton, Mourning, Shaq and Wade will be crowned.
Well this messes with the order of the games I thought they were going to win but I'm still right there with my prediction. Dirk has had some incredible games after sh*tty ones like this so I expect him to get over 40 points with a good percentage in the next game. The Mavericks had a great chance to take this game in the 7 minutes that the Heat did nothing but the Mavs only got it down to 10. They just couldn't make their shots. Great defense by Miami, but the Mavs had their worst game in the whole playoffs. The Heat won't do this to them again. I'm happy that Shaq and the Heat are doing something so at least the Lakers fans can't make fun of him too much.
Complete blowout! 98-74This new format could really benefit us now. If we can get the next game, I don't care if we lost the first two in Dallas, they're in trouble, winning three games in a row gives you so much confidence and momentum, I don't think the Mavs are going to be able to overcome. Bring on Game 5. :boxin:
15 points, 10 rebounds for James Posey coming off the bench! We really needed that offensive spark from the bench and once again Stackhouse got shut down. If we can contain there bench and keep playing good defense this series is ours in 6.
What a game! Again! Dwyane Wade is unbelievable, James Posey was the X-Factor and stepped up HUGE, Shaq played well, Walker played pretty well, Zo was a beast. I loved watching that game. Not only because I want Miami to win, but just seeing them prove all the criticts wrong is great.Go Miami! I'm still sticking with my prediction from the start of the series: Miami in 6 (very very very doubtful, but I don't care 6 or 7, let's go Heat!).White Hot!!! (jesus christ isn't it amazing how much this effects me)
Pathetic. Really, that's pretty much all that explains it all. I wasn't that upset about what happened last game, because I thought we outplayed them all of the first three games. Eh, maybe I'll get to go to game 6, at least... we'll see.
Dirk with the poor performance, again. I really thought he would do a better job but he has been a let down so far, he still gets most of his points at the free throw line but hes been shooting a horrible field goal percentage. Along with the defense of Dallas, Dirk has played a role in Dallas losing two straight.
I unfortunatley didnt get to see the game tonight because i was working but i watched sports center and epsn and the mavericks looked awful. scoring only 7 points in the 4th quarter. That is terrible. Look for the mavs to come back strong in game 5. I still dont know if it will be enough to beat the Heat at home though
When you're a jump shooter, as Dirk is, you're bound to have off games, cold streaks, etc. However, 2-14, I mean, that's not what you want from your star. That's just inexcusable, cold streak or no.
He was just sitting on the line, looked like the Dirk of yesteryear until he started driving but it was too late...
All I can say is remember game 4 against Phoenix where Dallas got blown out and the next game Dirk scores 50 points and Dallas wins by 16. I say game is Dallas's. Also the 2 days off might take away some of Miami's momentum.

For one, the Haslem/Anderson/Posey are 4000000x the defender that Tim Thomas will ever be. Second, Dallas is on the road against a team that is 10-1 on homecourt in this years playoffs. Third, Dirk has a sore ankle now. Fourth....ehhh I ran out of ideas  I do agree about the momentum. I was hoping that game 5 would be tommorow night.
Stackhouse suspended for game 5. I guess I have mix feelings on if it really hurts Dallas. Dallas has many players they can go to in place of him so not a huge loss.

It's rediculous if you think Dirk isn't going to have a big game. Maybe he won't score 50 but he'll get 40 next game. Dallas still has the homecourt advantage so even if they lose next game they still have the last 2 games in Dallas. Howard is also due for a big game.
Dirk's 30-point game wouldn't be below average I think....That Stackhouse suspension is so stupid. that was only a flagrant 1 and this might cost Dallas the series! Stern should go play in traffic.

He makes up most of the time by going to the free throw line but that doesn't mean he didn't have a bad game.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (mavsfan1000 @ Jun 16 2006, 07:58 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>It's rediculous if you think Dirk isn't going to have a big game. Your making opinion on 1 game he had against Phoenix, It doesn't mean every other bad game he has will automatically result in a great performance.
You speak the truth Mr. Johnson<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>An irate Johnson also told radio listeners O'Neal was being protected by the league, saying: "It's been around forever -- certain players get royal treatment, certain players don't."Johnson opened his show with a Cuban-like rant against the way the league has handled cases like this, later saying there is "no rebuttal, no trial and jury, just a judge.""I've been holding my tongue all year about the foolishness, just the foolishness that goes on there," said Johnson, who was voted the NBA coach of the year in his first full season."They're so inconsistent. I'm just embarrassed to have to deal with some of the things I have to deal with. ... We are in a position where we have no authority and we're always reminded of that -- we're just coaches."Asked whether he feared the Mavericks are being targeted because of how vocal Cuban is with barbs toward the league, Johnson said, "I would sure hope not.""If there is some truth to that, I hope certain people can't even look themselves in the mirror because that's a disgrace," he said.</div>
