you don't know that yet. both teams are getting blown out by eachother in back to back games. you don't know which team is gonna be coming out for game 3.

Dang....The Nets are getting killed, by 20pts. Hm...im guessing the Nets lost this one, but you never know till the buzzer hits zero at the end.

Miaim's defense is what cost them game 1. Our offense is just dead thats why we are losing game 2. Offense could come on game 3, defense cant.

As I guaranteed,a nice game 2 win for Miami to tie the series 1-1.I doubt the Nets can win the series without a healthy Jefferson.I expect this one to go down to 7 games with Miami taking it at home.

Jefferson's jumper was falling today. I give credit to him for stepping up even when he had an ankle injury. But the rest of the Nets just were in slumps the whole game. This is what it will be like when Carter, Krstic or Jefferson is cold. They have nothing from the bench to help out their scoring load.Huge credit to Shaq. He dominated when he played. Grabbing rebounds easily and playing the finesse game very well. Wade attacked the besket well and even hit some 3 pointers lol. Just the rest of the Heat offense was on fire. They were ahead 28-4 I think in the 1st quarter. You cant do that to a team like the Heat. You have to get the advantage early, because their offense is so great that when they have a double digit lead it is almost impossible to catch up to them. They have so many offensive weapons on that team.So in conclusion, the Heat head to Jersey with the series tied. I expect them to win this in a 6 game series actually. But Shaq is the X factor. It is up to him to take advantage of the Nets weak interior. If he can play like this the whole series then it is definately a 6 game series. I type these letters on my keyboard is the buzzer rings..thats all for now.

Your team isnt worth sh*t so youre in no position to make fun of another team when they lose. The Knicks are absolutely pitiful, so a team losing in the second round while still getting a split on the road, stealing homecourt advantage doesnt seem like something you should be laughing at in your position. Maybe if you stopped being a shithead you wouldnt hear the Knicks comments..

Solid post, without a doubt Shaq is the X factor, but the Heat also need to drain the open shots they get. This was a weak game from the Nets and I expect them to comeback strong in game 3 with a healthy RJ.They key for the Nets is to get Shaq in foul trouble by getting VC and RJ to attack the rim to draw the fouls.Edit:I was reffering to CB4's post.

Heat won this. I knew they werne't gonna drop 2 home games. If they did they would have lost the series.

I knew Miami would come back aggresive and with alot of energy, but I didnt expect the Nets to come out flat and let Miami do whatever they pleased. Give Miami credit for coming out and being the aggresor tonight. They hit their open shots and played good team ball, spreading the floor and distrubuting the ball to open players. New Jersey played poorly defensively and once they allowed themselves to fall into the defecit, never really had an oppurtunity to get back in the game. The defensive effort needs to be stronger and the intensity needs to be raised. The good news for the Nets is they managed to get a split on the road, stealing home court advantage, and seemingly have a healthy Jefferson returning to NJ. These first two games were blowouts, but expect a tight series from here on out.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (CB4AllStar @ May 10 2006, 10:49 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Woah you guys need to settle down. Like this dosnt happen everywhere else on this board. If tony accually took these things seriously with people badmouthing others (and hoopskid isnt rly) a lot of members would be gone, including you. Back to topic.

Now we're back in business. Both Shaq and Wade showed up tonight and the defense was very impressive. But as everyone says Shaq will be the real difference maker, we just got to keep feeding him the ball and hope he stays in the groove. New Jersey did their job though, they got one out of our two home games, to put the advatage on their side with homecourt now, but I'm still confident we'll take the series.

I agree, great game by Miami, they dominated from the start and took care of bussiness in a game they needed to win. Now the series shifts to NJ with a 1-1 tie, hopefully the Nets can bounce back and regain the upperhand. Im expecting a much more energetic and determined team after getting embarrased tonight, and its surely a good sign that Jefferson was able to play and contribute as he was.
