Ed would be totally unnecessary on this roster. Zach needs to play 25-30 mpg next year. And there will be a trickle down effect to raise Harkless' mins as well which will be good for the team.

We can better use our MLE on a wing shooter

I think Olshey thinks we've got a stable enough culture now. Both Nurk and Baldwin (for a couple of examples) had not-great reputations before coming to us.

Plus Beasley has pretty much reformed. Still can't play defense worth a damn though.

What coach's system doesn't need shooters? How successful is he?

Why is it either or? Depth is a good thing.

To be honest we could use a lot more attitude and toughness, maybe he wouldn’t be scared to actually lay a hard foul on KD.

Yep. And I think PA has had his fill of the drama that surrounds it all legal or not. I think he steers clever because of the potential side show circus it could become.

In a perfect world we keep Ed and find a way to add a veteran/actually good wing player. Allowing Collins to start at the 4.

I think Collins is ready to start full time. Yeah he will have some bad games but he is our future and he needs to get used to playing with our best players full time.

Laker fans are stalking Lebron's private plane landing in LA and we're here talking about MAYBE going after Mike Beasley.

ugh. Just once I'd like to know how that feels to have the best player in the league picking our team.

Unless the Blazers move to Cali, Florida, New York, or maybe Vegas it will never happen.

A reporter from ESPN and their local news helicopter were there to snap pictures. Our equivalent of this was Jason Quick waiting at PDX for Festus Ezeli coming to get his physical. smh. Just in a different world.

We could use some swagger....as long as he's matured as they've said he has...he's a baller...Durant thinks he's one of the best...says Beasley can score on anybody from anywhere on the court. I'm actually liking the idea of adding him to the roster
