VA care is one of the programs that will loose a ton of money to make up for tax cuts for the wealthy along with a whole lot of programs for the needy...I'm hoping my 83 year old paralyzed client doesn't loose his care in the line of fire.

 

That's right! And the assholes had no reason to interferer with the healthcare of millions of people. WTF it was almost a threat, drop those people, it's legal now. Or else pay a big fucking tax!!

Why the hell didn't they report how many lost their healthcare that way? Hell man, nobody needs the government fucking them up that way! Rightfully earned compensation for 30 years work,
destroyed by a fools grand plan. Show me the fucking authorization in the Constitution.

I and my wife had healthcare as part of my retirement benefits. I also am in the VA healthcare system as a class 3 veteran.

Now that is spot on, on queue. I lost my healthcare that I worked years to get, to Obama's grand fucking scheme, so that Kingslayer could get healthcare..
Now KingSlayer maybe about to lose it and Barfo thinks that is equally egregious. No doubt Kingslayer does as well.

Every time I read your posts I become more and more convinced that emphasis should be placed on senior care in whatever healthcare package congress passes.

And for the record, I have insurance through my employer. I'm just not part of the "fuck you, I got mine" crowd.

I was torn when thinking about education, basically I think the Federal Government should be out of it, No Constitutional authority.
However, I have stowed that thought in hopes that Trump will come through with allowing school choice and paying for it so that all kid can get a better education up through High School.
This would educate most young people well enough, especially if they are outside the public school system, so that most will not vote Democrat.

I don't think the Government should put a dime into sending people to Universities as I find them to be a big scam for most people. I would even go so far as to say, I think it should be unlawful to require degrees for most jobs. People can learn an become fully competent in may ways other than colleges. Many can even do it better.

 

my understanding of facts about the "Cadillac health plan" tax is that has never been implemented but was scheduled for 2018. the house and senate would not have ever allowed it to happen as written or as scheduled. most employee health care pension funds were/are woefully underfunded, especially those providing Cadillac benefits that were negotiated or contracted before the explosion in healthcare costs. many pension providers chose to divest of the Cadillac plans as a simple liability/asset balance sheet decision not a government mandated one. would the costs have been prohibitive? very likely. have they happened yet? no. in december of 2015 the implementation date was delayed from 2018 till 2020 as predict. trumpcare will remove it from the books entirely. is this a true review of the facts? I am sorry for marzuls hardship, don't get me wrong but am curious if it might be misplaced anger about blame.
