    Howard?

    Michael Redd a Maverick?

The Mavs do have some nice young players, Devin Harris, Marquis Daniels, & Josh Howard. They also have expiring contracts. I realize the Bucks don't have many options, but I don't think Michael Redd deserves to paid franchise-player type money. If the Bucks can grab any combination of those two players, plus an expiring contract of Van Horn it might be a good route to take.

    PG - Marquis Daniels
    SG - Desmond Mason
    SF - Josh Howard
    PF - Van Horn

Plus they can re-sign Gadzuric and they have a lottery pick.</div>

Dallas had their best year in a long time when its star shooting guard, Finley, was in rapid decline mode. Why? Because of Josh Howard. He gets the team going. He's the tough guy who comes out with the ball. Yeah, he can't shoot like Redd or Finley, but they need him. He will be staying. Daniels was superb at the end of '04 and got a great contract. Avery Johnson didn't play him. I think they are going to keep him. Point guard play is the bottom line with the Mavericks. They need to go with Devin Harris or let him go.
