Well, if that's what makes the two of you happy, there's nothing wrong with that.

    just another blazerday in blazerland.

im not even phased by this shit anymore, roy will be next - it's gonna happen - how can it not?

ill never stop supporting the team but holy fuckin bejesus, it may be time to just admit defeat with this group, trade out everything we can (that makes some kind of sense) and re-tool with a different dynamic.

    hope. destroying. news.

"Why?" That's the first word I can think of right now as a fan. Following that Jail Blazer era, I got a lift over the last few years. There have been some tough moments, especially last season, but now the awful luck is almost too much to be believable. You look back and see Walton and Bowie, but those were just a couple of guys. I don't know how the morale is in the locker room after all this, but my morale with this team has had about as much as it can take. I support you Blazers. I'm watching games. But I don't know how to keep my spirits up.

    I concur.

Maybe I'm a stubborn guy, or just plain stupid, but let's not give up on Oden just yet. We've already stuck with him this long, we might as well wait once more for Oden's return. It's not like we can get much value for him anyway. I want to see Oden finally succeed and in a Blazers uniform, doggonit!

I was busy last night and missed the news.

My only response is, "you've got to be freakin' kidding."

I feel really bad for Greg the person, and Greg the basketball player. He seems like a great kid who deserves much better than this.

Sabonis didn't join the Blazers until he was 31. Oden is 22.

I'll wait 10 years if I have to. I'll live with Roy, Aldridge, Batum, Oden, even Nate struggling, scrapping, for the playoffs every year. I love this team man. I won't give up on this team.

I, for one, still believe in Greg Oden. He's still only 22. He still has 10+ seasons of basketball left in him. Other players have been able to overcome numerous injuries to become outstanding players (Grant Hill and Kenyon Martin come to mind). But I'm not even close to being ready to jump on the "he's done, trade him, he'll never play" bandwagon that 90%+ of Blazer fans have jumped on. Again, he's just too young...he's twenty fucking two. Maybe if he were, say, 30+ then I might, but not at 22. Although this is bad, what would be even worse is seeing Greg crush the Blazers while wearing a Lakers uniform (or any other), and I absolutely 100% can see that happening if we let him go.

He's young but these injuries are going to take a toll on his athletic ability. Two MF surgeries on top of the patella injury, come on!

I thought he would come back and develop into somebody like Emeka Okafor but now I think he's closer to Vitaly Potapenko.

You and I share the same view. It seems to be a minority one on this board.

Mornin Maxie, I hold out hope but what bothers me is how easily injured he is. I mean the first MF they have no idea how it happened and the second was no contact just going through drills. So here are two serious articular cartilage injuries happening with virtually no wear and tear of a regular season or a contact related injury. It's really hard for me to think that once he starts playing again more injuries won't keep happening. I want to "believe" differently but based upon what's transpired it very hard to do that.

Well, I hope you deal with that fucking tool Master Shake. His conduct was uncalled for, especially given his position as a Moderator.
