So when did you jump on the Bandwagon, before 1st round or after this weekend? Rumors going around that Calipari is the #1 target for the Arizona job, could lose that GOAT class
Last year. But I was watching them every so often because of the lack of many NCAA games till March Madness. And didn't really go all out on them till March Madness started. I'm not goign to shit talk to you like fuck your team. But I like Louisville and I'll start to contribute to the college ball forums.
Calipari has no intentions in leaving Memphis. He was about to go to NC State a few years ago, but he declined the job offer at the last second. Plus, why would he go to a Arizona team that would be rebuilding next year when he already is set at Memphis. To add on to all that, Calipari signed an extension with Memphis just last year which made him a top 5 paid coach in the land making it near impossible for him to leave any time soon.
Yeah, I was just trying to give you a bad time Arizona has been such a mess so far this year, getting to the Sweet 16 makes this season such a success, I don't know how many people actually realize it. NC State is nothing compared to Arizona considering not only is NC State competing with 2 dynasties in their own state, but you can compare Arizona's tradition for the last 3 decades with anyone in the nation. Arizona wouldn't exactly be that big of a rebuilding project as most people would assume if they land a big time coach considering they already have the name on the jersey. The AD Livengood already said that money wouldn't be a problem, so if there is a possibility it could happen, I'd keep my eye open to it. With all that said, I don't want Calipari to tell the truth. I really want to see Arizona make a run at Anthony Grant (has offers from Georgia & Alabama right now), Mike Anderson, or Reggie Theus.
Calipari would never go to the Pac-10. He avoids high level competition like the plague, Memphis is perfect for him- he can scoop up all kinds of great talent, he never has to play any difficult teams and if he does they'll come to Memphis, he can get in the tourney every year because Memphis can easily mop up on everyone in CUSA, hes getting paid with the best of them, he can run his stupid mouth whenever he wants and whore attention for himself and his star players.
Calipari has proven he can coach. He didn't make two non-BCS schools a National Championship contender if he didn't. Some people think the only reason Memphis has been successful is because of their piss poor conference. Calipari will have a National Championship ring in five years or less, quote me.
what are you talking about? he avoids high level competition and only plays them in memphis? this year memphis played seton hall(big east school) and xavier on neutral sites during a tournament. they played at georgetown, at tennessee, and at gonzaga. memphis plays big time competition every year on the road and at neutral sites.
So far it's been good news for Louisville and Kansas since both 1 & 3 seeds have advanced....let's hope something changes tomorrow
Sherron Collins and Cole Aldrich have been great so far, basically carrying Kansas right now. Everyone else on KU has been nothing short of horrible.
No Memphis, no Kansas past the Sweet 16. It was still a good year for both considering those teams were supposed to rebuild.
