With the possible exception of the Lakers, it's going to be a fight to get into the playoffs for every team in the West. One 4 game losing streak, one key injury, can drop a team to #9. And while #9 worked for the Beatles, it doesn't in the NBA.

 

Ugh... Classic MB. I'm feeling more and more our big splash was getting a trade exception.

 

The Blazers have too many nice guys. We need a guy who can give his 6 fouls and do some TRASH TALKING. So, I humbly suggest KP make the following trade IMMEDIATELY:

Trade Channing Frye for Eric Millegan!!!!

and I'm sure MB likes Eric!!

MB is a really good employee for the Blazers. He recites the company line perfectly.

 

And for some more than others.

And we're the only team trying to break through for the first time.

All the others have been through the fight and gotten in.

Serioulsy this little quote from him says it all.

Translation... no playoffs, no trades. That basically puts us in the same boat as OKC, Minny, and other shit teams. You dont win in the nBA without proven players. Of course you need to draft young stars but not adding vets keeps you in teh bottom lotto tier. Everyone excited to be the best team who doesnt make the playoffs? That where we will be in April. Sad day as a BLazer fan.

Even the mighty MB doesn't know if one three GMs will call KP in the next 30 minutes and okay a deal.

There is absolutly no way KP has unplugged the phone and wouldn't take a deal he has already proposed at the last minute.
