    Mike Dunleavy Jr. had a breakout night with thirty points and eleven rebounds. I think that he, Zach Randolph, and Mike James will be the breakout players of the year.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">OAKLAND, Calif., Nov. 1 (Ticker) -- Mike Dunleavy Jr. couldn't have had better timing for the best game of his career.

    The hot-shooting Dunleavy had career highs of 32 points and 11 rebounds, leading the shorthanded Golden State Warriors to a 104-90 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday.

    A second-year forward taken third overall in the 2002 draft, Dunleavy is coming off a disappointing rookie season. When the Warriors traded leading scorer Antawn Jamison in the offseason, it opened the three-spot for Dunleavy, who was expected to fill the scoring void.

    Dunleavy was just 6-for-18 from the field in Golden State's season-opening loss to Dallas on Wednesday, but bounced back by making 11-of-15 shots. He scored 21 points in the first half, neutralizing some hot shooting by the 76ers and giving the Warriors the lead for good.

    Golden State needed a big performance as it was without guards Jason Richardson (suspension) and Nick Van Exel (injury) and forward Troy Murphy (injury). Forwards Adonal Foyle, Popeye Jones and Dan Langhi also were limited by injuries to a combined six minutes, leaving the Warriors with seven healthy players.

    Dunleavy wasn't the only Warrior with a sweet stroke. Calbert Cheaney scored 20 points on 10-for-12 shooting and former Sixer Speedy Claxton added 17, making 7-of-11 shots. </div>

    The Warriors had only SEVEN healthy players for the tonites game against the Sixers! Talk about playing with heart. Every Warrior contributed in this win. Speedy kept Iverson in check holding him to only 17 points while scoring 17 himself.

    People keep saying that losing Jamison and Arenas was too much when they really improved their team. WHEN the Warriors are healthy, they will have one of the deepest benches in the leauge.

    Nick Van Exel ---> Speedy Claxon
    J-Rich--->Calbert Cheany--->Pietrus
    Troy Murphy--->Clifford Robinson
    Erik Dampier--->Adonal Foyle

    Impressive win...When Warriors get their 3 starters back they could be in good shape.

    Dunleavy had a horrible night against the Lakers. I think he is putting too much pressure on himself. He is getting some good looks but was forcing too many shots. He took way too many three point attempts. If you are having an off-night, take the ball to the basket. He is a young player, his first year being a starter, it will be interesting to see how he matures as the season goes on.
