Because I think he loves the NBA lifestyle and the money associated with it. The game is merely a way to live that life. Which is why he cheated to try and get into shape, and which is why he took his rehab to Cold Stone Creamery. Thankfully for the NBA, nobody bit on a guaranteed contract.
are you joking? dude has yet to receive his 9M from Paul Allen this year... I'm sure he could figure out how to scrape by on that. STOMP
Most likely, his food was spiked, by someone who stands to gain if he fails. Hmmm...who could that be? Drugging players without their knowledge via restaurant food is as commonplace as a blue light sale at KMart. All year long players have no problem, then come playoff time several key stars always seem to pick up "food poisoning", or seem uncharacteristically tired. I'd be very careful where I ate if people were betting money on my job performance.
Another bad night for Miles: D. Miles 13:23 1-5, 3 rebs, 0 asts. I don't think he makes the team . . . not Darius bashing here, but it is defintely in the Blazers best interest if Darius does not play basketball in the next two seasons.
I'd normally be skeptical of the conspiracy theory but why was he being drug tested during retirement?
That is what I was going to say. lol... I think I heard he was tested a while ago, while on the Blazers roster, and this news just came out recently. A lot of us Blazer fans knew about this more than a month before it was released. It was probably made public because he plans on playing.
I watched Miles in the pre season game last night for the Celtics. Can you believe his jump shot hasn't improved? Give me a sigh of disbelief! On defense his feet looked like they were cemented to the ground. No lateral movement.
