Black people have been the outsiders for many years, now the Muslims are the new outsiders. Umair, I think you should be talking to your teachers, not us. The alternative is to beat them up or threaten them that your uncle is a terrorist and he will suicide bomb their houses and families. [IMG]

<div class="quote_poster">Umair15 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I am not trying to be racist or anything, but mostly black kids call me terrorists. If they are talking about my race, and calling me terrorists, then how is it different for us to call them the "n" word? Yea it hurts them because slavery has went on for a lot of years, but were muslims the reason for slavery. It was whites as far as I know. So why take action against us and make fun of our race when our race never did anything to yours? Also, if one word can hurt you then why can't another word hurt us? Why are us pakistanis being involved in this? Why call us terrorists and then be all sensitive to being called a name? Why say something to someone for no particular reason and not expext to be said something back at? I hope no one feels me being racist or anything, but that's what I feel towards this.</div>

Your thought process is hypocritical. You don't like someone prejudging you and making a generalization about Pakistanis, yet you're doing the same thing with black kids. The problem is ignorance.

[IMG] If I do that, then they will friggin tell the teachers, and these teachers here take this seriously, they might get police to search me or something. Even if you joke, they take it seriouisly. Very bs'ing. Its no point of talking to the teachers, they won't do anything, some are scared of blacks themselves. Bunch of wussies, that wont make them stop.

Actually not, I am saying that if they feel sensitive when someone calls the n word, then what is in their mind that makes them think that someone else won't get sensitive when you call them with racist remarks. If I call someone the n word, they will get mad, and they expect me not to get mad when they call me a terrorist. I guess the best way to deal with it is to ignore them. But it doesnt help, it happens like everyday, and I am getting tired of it. If I find I person saying this to me and I know I can whoop his tail, his asz is dead.

You're right, the problem is ignorance. They look at you and automatically assume that you are from Afghanistan. When I am like I am from Pakistan, they are like same thing, which I find very ignorant. But the worst part is that if you say something back, like call them an n word they wanna jump you or whatever. It is not right. They are very ignorant. They just say you're from that region and you look like Afghanistanis/Iraqi's so you're one of them. Thats not right. I also find this extremely ignorant.

They do expect you to get mad, that's why they keep doing it.

If you are bothered by the comments an ignorant person makes, then you must have self esteem issues. If they don't know the difference between Afghanis, Pakistanis, and Iraqi's, and group them as one, then they're f'n stupid.

Why do you care what stupid people think and say about you?

Yea, you're only bringing yourself down to their level, if you think that using that word is a justifiable response. You talked about their ignorance, but if you really do think that way, you're being just as ignorant as they are.

It was hypothetical. What I was saying was that if you sink to their level, then you would be just as ignorant as they are. Not necessarily calling you ignorant, right now.

Umair...deal with it bro...that's all you can do. The more you react to their bullsh*t, the more they're gonna say. Infact, your anger will give them fuel to make up new crap. Getting angry and whoopin someones ass for calling you a name is one of the worst things you can do. You whoop a kids ass... you're showing violence. So now what is everyone gonna call you? A terrorist. Why? Cuz you just whooped some kids ass. You just stay quiet and laugh it off. Don't talk back to them by calling them a name. What do you gain? They call you a terrorist, show them what a terrorist does NOT do.

Another thing is...it isn't just the Afghans or Iraqi's that are terrorists, so stop referring to them as such.

So basically...patience is the key little man. Anger makes you say and do things you regret later on.

Once when I was walking to school senior year (yea walking, suck my d*ck), a car pulled up right next to me by the sidewalk scaring the crap out of me and a guy hands me a card and says give us a call. The card was from the Marines and needless to say, I did not make that call.
