If you go to that link now it is dated January 27, 2016 10:55pm

If they didn't change it why did they change the dateline, hmm?

They do often add to existing stories as things progress.

They're not going to substantially alter something like "these guys are militia" without also posting "article updated to remove these guys are militia because ..." (somewhere near the bottom).

The facts as they are in reality are that these people are loosely affiliated and protesting a real wrong done them by the government. Some militias might lend their support to the cause, but none actually have.

Your article still doesn't mention the word "militia" even once.

It does mention one militia organization:

Yes, no one would ever remove a quote from a story during a rewrite.

Similarly, we have no idea whether they had guns on them when they were stopped on the highway.

DennyWorld is such an interesting place.

You are both quite petty. One of you does this on a regular basis however which is pitiful.

You guys are both pretty petty, love Tom Petty, never go potty, were conceived in petri dishes and are never satisfied with with a mani peti.

Actually, they don't and it's not a rewrite.

They certainly won't remove quotes and they won't edit them to say something else.

I'm 3 mins in but according to the witness they refused to listen to the commands of law enforcement to turn the car off and exit the vehicle, then told them they were going to talk to the sheriff and drove off. If cops have their guns on you, you don't ignore them and try to drive away.

    Civil disobedience.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civil_disobedience

Civil disobedience is the active, professed refusal to obey certain laws, demands, and commands of a government, or of an occupying international power. Civil disobedience is a symbolic or ritualistic violation of the law, rather than a rejection of the system as a whole. Civil disobedience is sometimes, though not always,[1][2] defined as being nonviolent resistance.

The first quote is from an occupier at the refuge referring to themselves as militia who could go after the FBI instead of vice-versa.

Feel free to think otherwise as you would prefer your toe to toe with barfo goes round and round some more.

You also said the article wasn't edited to take out the word militia and you asked him to show you the word militia in there even once. You even did a screenshot to make your point. You guys can call it a tie and kiss and make up for all I care.

FBI snipers in the trees, and all the cops shooting into the car for 5-10mins and only 1 person dead and 1 person injured? Uh huh.

They drove towards the road block in front of them. That's not civil disobedience.

    LOL

The point was to show the protestors calling themselves militia. Barfo posted a link that didn't even have the word "militia" in it once.

    That's hilarious.

Without civil disobedience, the civil rights movement would have been stopped in its tracks in the 1950s.

In 1968, anti government protesters flocked to Chicago to picket the Democratic Convention and took physical beatings from the cops, refusing to obey their orders.

Some people are willing to martyr themselves for the cause. Witness the Freedom Riders.

    It is civil disobedience.
