    It is exactly the same sort of thing.

    The people were protesting the government. They occupied (sit in) government property.

    They had guns, but were miles from anyone and never threatened a soul until the FBI killed a man.

    It was premeditated murder. The FBI set a trap for the man and his companions and shot him in the middle of nowhere, where he was a threat to nobody.

    You don't know this at all....he was no threat? They were no threat? You didn't listen to what they were saying at all...I heard their threats and read another article about a hiker being confronted by one of them with a gun...guess that hiker didn't have rights either.

    sure...sure...there's shit being talked in Burns and it's not the hiker...you seem to judge the FBI agents who were a few yards from Lavoy...yet I'm assuming you were not within miles of the incident. These militia guys are setting a very dangerous precident and you seem to be strangely supportive...it's your right as well as mine to criticize their actions and behavior. They don't have my support after reading up and listening to both sides..they lost any reasonable doubt from me

    Watch the PBS piece. They said people were allowed by the protesters to visit the park and take in the sights. Not a threat.

    I can find nothing in the news about any hiker being confronted by these protesters.
