that makes sense as it would be harder to get those pants stuck in a bicycle chain, man i used to hate that
actually, if you get the pants stuck in the bike gears, it'll rip the raw denim and man..that's some sweet street cred. if you shart your pants, that is even better. just don't wash it.
Don't forget that you have to complete the outfit with thick-rimmed glasses that you don't actually need, and a leather shoulder bag.
what does this mean, like glasses that have no prescription? or wearing prescription glasses when you dont need them? that can be very harmful for your eyes, causing permanent retina or corneal damage or cross eye syndrome and in general, i tend to not make fun of backpacks, they are inanimate objects, and have no control over their construction
The minute you "means test" any of our insurance programs they stop being insurance programs and become welfare. And what happens to welfare programs? We all know they simply get cut. Bottom line: John McCain collects over 58K per year from disability. And I'm FINE with it. He paid into the system his entire life and he should get that money. "Means testing" is a smarmy way to say we want to turn this into a welfare program so we can cut it.
When you tax the rich and give to the poor, you're playing Robin Hood AND you've created a welfare state.
I don't know where the 58k comes from or what the breakdown is, but he gets a large portion of it because he was shot down in the service of his country and instead of going to a hospital to get his injuries fixed he spent 6 years in a cage near Hanoi.
This is true. And it is 100% from Social Security and Disability. My point is, it doesn't matter how many houses you have you should still have to contribute to what the country decided was going to be a safety net for Widows, Orphaned children, and the elderly.
When you tax the rich and the poor (what SSN would do if the cap wasn't at $106,800) Everyone benefits from that part of the system. Use your bumper sticker talk all you want, but this nation decided that this was what we were going to do because we had over 50%poverty rate for our seniors. It has worked amazingly and it did not add one penny to our debt/deficit. Now why do Republicans want to privatize it? Because there is 2.6 Trillion dollars they want to suck out of it.
http://ssa-custhelp.ssa.gov/app/ans...-social-security-benefit-for-a-retired-worker The average monthly Social Security benefit for a retired worker was about $1,230 at the beginning of 2012. (that would be $14,760/yr) http://aspe.hhs.gov/poverty/12poverty.shtml Persons in household: 1 - poverty level $11,160 Persons in household: 2 - poverty level $15,130 (whoops, that $14,760/yr is below the poverty level)
so the point is, that they are still in poverty, so we should just let them starve to death? stay classy san diego
