    We don't want John Fisher owning the Trail Blazers. Not even as a part owner, or a friend of a future owner. Guy is arguably one of the worst owners is all of professional sports, and would ruin this franchise.

    He doesn't have the net worth even if he wanted. 3 billion net worth and it's almost all tied up in the As. He'd have to sell his entire As ownership first. NBA doesn't allow owners to buy franchises on debt.

    I like how that article asks why the A's owner would leave Oakland, for "the desert"...as if the fact he's a bad owner who doesn't know how to run a team or ingratiate himself to a region is completely lost on them.

    Yes I know it's a rhetorical question.

    They made a good point. Building a Stadium in San Francisco and keeping the fans they had while garnering more public support and having a top 10 TV market makes financial sense.
