OT MLB to PDX: We're talking baseball to PDX

It'd be awesome if the "dome" for the stadium, when covered, was transparent, so it still had an open air feel to it. Maybe that's what that weird umbrella tower is, a dome slider thingamabob

 

I think it looks COOL!

 

It would pretty much have to include both a parking structure as well as a cover for rainy days.

 

Although I'm gonna take your word for it not being intended as a compliment I'm still going to take it as a compliment.

 

It looks pretty cool imo, I’m not a baseball fan so I am probably not the best judge heh.

 

When you said watching the Stos I was thinking drinking some Strohs. Strohs used to be a very popular mid West brand of beer.

 

Put it ON the goddamn river...

 

While that would be extremely cool, it would also be extremely expensive. It might price me out of some games. The games that I would go to would be really cool, though.

 

I don’t like the design of that... it’s too soccer style for my taste

 

I hate it, looks like a bedpan, but I'll take it if it means MLB baseball in Portland. Lots of horrible buildings going up all over town, this is just one more (if it ever happens).

I remember Strohs in Portland during the 70s. Was it only a midwest beer? Am I misremembering?

 

Ha I remember those Strohs runs in college during those years. The beer was good enough and the price was very right.

 

I never remember it in Portland but I do remember it in the Mid West in the 60s thru the 80s. At the same time Reingold was popular in the NE. I saw mountains of Reingold, Oly, Bud and Schlitz in VN. They had large palates of beer stacked about 15 feet high in huge cubes.
