Well this is cool news and it isn't some April Fool's shit, either. 26-year old Ben Nguyen from South Dakota has been toiling on the regional circuit since 2006. The 26-year old became popular this year when a video of him knocking out Jules "The Jackal" Rabaud made the front page of Reddit. Since then fans online have been calling for him to get a shot with the UFC. It helps that Nguyen is also on a seven-fight winning streak and just captured his first title (Nitro MMA). Although Nguyen says his manager was negotiating with the UFC in November, talks stalled. Nguyen says the video of his fight with Rabaud got things moving again and now he's fighting Alptekin Ozkilic in Australia later this year.
